We all are interconnected, and each of us plays a role in this world, whether big or small. Mud Pies tells a story of several women with different lives; each of them has different dreams, desires and problems, just like everybody else. Rebeka is the eternal mistress of Martin, whose wife Karolína desperately longs for a child whom she can’t conceive. Karolína’s sister Renata is a top manager of an international company, spending all her time on work and travels. Her daughter Nikola suffers from the lack of interest from her parents, and Linda struggles to change her life. Miluška’s time is severely limited as a fatal illness is threatening her life. No one of these women would guess that their lives will meet at a certain point and affect one another; that all of them are going to face their destiny, and each of them can affect the future as everyone plays a role in this world. So do the Mud Pies, taking life seriously and, also, with a specific kind of humor. These women can challenge their fates.
